Creator Store Terms

1. Overview

These Creator Store Terms ("Store Terms") govern your use of the Creator Store feature within iBuildInfluence ("the Platform"), operated by Darkside Innovations Ltd. By enabling, configuring, or selling through a Creator Store, you agree to these Store Terms in addition to our general Terms of Service.

The Creator Store feature allows you to sell digital products, courses, downloads, and services directly to your audience. All payments are processed by Stripe. By using the Creator Store, you also agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement.

2. Eligibility

To use the Creator Store you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
• Hold a valid iBuildInfluence account in good standing
• Complete all required identity and business verification steps, including those required by Stripe
• Be located in a jurisdiction where Stripe's payment services are available
• Ensure that your products and services comply with the laws of the countries where you offer them

3. What You Can Sell

The Creator Store is designed for creators selling their own original digital products and services. Permitted products include but are not limited to:

• Digital downloads (e-books, PDFs, templates, presets, audio files)
• Online courses and educational content
• Coaching and consulting services
• Software, apps, and digital tools you have created
• Memberships and subscription-based content access
• Physical goods that are legal in the jurisdictions of both seller and buyer

You must own or have the rights to sell everything listed in your store. Reselling third-party products without proper authorisation is not permitted.

4. Prohibited Products and Businesses

Because payments are processed through Stripe, you are bound by Stripe's Prohibited and Restricted Businesses policy (last updated 13 May 2026). We summarise the key prohibited categories below, but the Stripe policy is the authoritative and complete reference.

You must not use the Creator Store to sell or promote any of the following:

5. Your Responsibilities as a Seller

5.1 Accurate Listings

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of your product listings, descriptions, pricing, and any claims made about your products. Misleading descriptions or false advertising are strictly prohibited.

5.2 Fulfilment

You must fulfil all orders promptly and as described. For digital products, delivery must occur within a reasonable timeframe after purchase. You are responsible for any customer support related to your products.

5.3 Taxes

You are solely responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and remitting any applicable taxes on your sales, including VAT, GST, sales tax, or equivalent, in all relevant jurisdictions. iBuildInfluence does not act as a tax agent on your behalf.

5.4 Refunds and Disputes

You must maintain a clear and honest refund policy visible to your customers. You are responsible for resolving customer disputes. Excessive chargebacks or disputes may result in suspension of your Creator Store.

5.5 Legal Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring your store, products, and sales practices comply with all applicable laws including consumer protection law, distance selling regulations, digital content laws, and any sector-specific regulations in your jurisdiction and the jurisdictions of your customers.

7. Monitoring and Enforcement

iBuildInfluence reserves the right to review any Creator Store, product listing, or transaction for compliance with these Store Terms and the Stripe Prohibited Businesses policy. We may, at our sole discretion:

• Remove or delist any product that violates these Store Terms
• Temporarily or permanently suspend a Creator Store
• Withhold payouts pending investigation of suspected policy violations
• Report suspected illegal activity to relevant authorities
• Terminate your iBuildInfluence account entirely

Where possible, we will notify you of an enforcement action and provide an opportunity to remediate. However, we reserve the right to act without notice where we determine there is an imminent risk of harm to customers, third parties, or the integrity of the Platform.

8. Ownership and Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the products and content you sell through your Creator Store. By listing a product, you grant iBuildInfluence a limited, non-exclusive licence to display, promote, and facilitate the sale of that product within the Platform.

You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to sell each product listed in your store and that doing so does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

iBuildInfluence provides the Creator Store as a technical platform only. We are not a party to any transaction between a seller and a buyer, and we make no warranties regarding the quality, safety, legality, or fitness for purpose of any product listed by a creator.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iBuildInfluence's total liability to you in connection with the Creator Store shall not exceed the platform fees paid by you in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless iBuildInfluence, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, penalties, fines, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Creator Store, your product listings, your sales, or your breach of these Store Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Store Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, Stripe's policies, or our business practices. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Creator Store after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Store Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Store Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
